Who We Are And Why We Do It…

Kristin was raised in Eastern Oregon and Jay was raised in Mesa, Arizona. They got married in 2001 and lived in Arizona for 11 years. Jay and Kristin both worked for a used appliance store in Arizona for approximately 8 years. That is where their love for working and selling appliances started.

While working at the appliance store, Jay was going to school and became a paramedic/firefighter, while Kristin worked in the hospital as a ward clerk. They moved back to the Baker area to be closer to Kristin's family with four beautiful kids, three boys and one girl.

One day, they decided to go and buy a dishwasher from Charlie. They jokingly asked him when he was going to retire. Thinking he would say "never," he actually said he wanted to retire soon. Well there was their golden ticket to have a family-owned business.

In May of 2017, Jay and Kristin Wilson bought Appliances & More LLC (formerly known for 40 years as "Western Auto") from Charlie and Linda Rich. They are excited to continue providing the Eastern Oregon area with appliances, furniture, mattresses and more, along with unbeatable customer service.
